WHAT SUBJECTS ARE COVERED ON THE SITE SAFETY PLUS COURSES ?

The following is included in most of these courses but obviously the depth of each subject covered depends which course is attended:

The Construction, (Design and Management) Regulations 2007.

Legal duties and responsibilities of the various duty holders.

Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Tool Box Talks

The Enforcing Authorities, their role and possible actions.

The management of the legal requirements and acceptable working practices that may be involved, for example : Working at Heights, Excavations, Confined Spaces, Electricity at Work, Welfare, First Aid, Asbestos, Fire Matters, Manual Handling, Plant and Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, etc.
